Beginners lessons are usually on a one to one basis or with small groups of family or friends and normally take place over a full day although shorter sessions can be arranged. For our corporate days or larger groups we provide a minimum of one instructor for every 4 people.
Our fly fishing days are very good fun and the instruction effective and they take place on first class and often exclusive fly fishing lakes or rivers. All necessary equipment is supplied including rods, reels, waders, flies etc.
All of our instructors hold nationally recognised Level 2, REFFIS (Register of Experienced Fly Fishing Instructors, Schools and Guides), or AAPGAI qualifications and a number are Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guides.
There is no doubt a fly fishing lesson is a huge shortcut to success and can eliminate months if not years of frustration trying to teach yourself. By starting fly casting using the correct technique will enable most people with a little practice to become a competent caster in a pretty short space of time and to enjoy their fishing more.
For the more experienced fly fisher the emphasis would be on fly fishing techniques and methods and the day would be tailored to their individual requirements. All techniques for both rivers and stillwaters can be taught.
A days fly fishing tuition or a guided fly fishing day makes a great birthday, Christmas or retirement present. A full day one-to-one private fly fishing lesson for one person costs from £170 on a midweek date and £195 at the weekend and a half-day costs from £120.
